Furry Friends

Furry Friends

has fast become a favourite at the U of A: dogs come to campus to brighten your day and help you relax among the pressures of student life.

Every month or so, some friendly pooches (and cats) visit campus for students to spend some time with. It doesn't cost anything; all you have to do is come down and hang out with the furry friends.

Part of the Unwind Your Mind program, pet-assisted therapy has proven to help individuals effectively deal with anxiety and stress. We work with trained animals certified in pet-assisted therapy, via our partners with Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness and Learning Society

Ultimately, the goal is to help you be more successful by providing healthy ways of helping you to deal with the stress in your life.
